New Ticketing Arrangements for Services 118, 119 and 482 from 1 September 2026

From Tuesday 1 September 2026, new ticketing arrangements will apply to customers connecting between Ipswich Buses Services 118/119 and Transport Made Simple Service 482.

 

Ipswich Buses operates Services 118 and 119 between Ipswich and Framlingham, while Service 482 between Framlingham and Diss is operated by Transport Made Simple.

 

Customers travelling across both operators’ services will need a valid Network ticket or period product issued by Ipswich Buses.

 

Which Tickets Will Be Accepted?

 

Ipswich Buses Network tickets will be accepted on Services 118, 119 and 482, allowing customers to transfer between the services at Framlingham.

 

The following Ipswich Buses tickets can be used:

 

  • Network Day ticket
  • Network 7-Day Pass
  • Network 28-Day Pass
  • Network 3-Month Pass
  • Network 10-Journey Pass

 

Tickets issued by Transport Made Simple will not be accepted on Ipswich Buses Services 118 or 119.

 

What Do Customers Need to Do?

 

Customers beginning their journey on Service 118 or 119 can purchase an appropriate Network ticket from the driver, use a valid ticket purchased through the Ipswich Buses app, or use a valid Network product loaded onto an Ipswich Buses smart card. The same ticket or pass can then be used to connect with Service 482 at Framlingham.

 

Customers beginning their journey on Service 482 will need to purchase their Ipswich Buses Network ticket or period product in advance using the Ipswich Buses app or an Ipswich Buses smart card. Ipswich Buses tickets cannot be purchased from the driver of Service 482.
