We are looking for friendly, caring and confident people who are passionate about customer service to join our amazing team of bus drivers in and around Ipswich and continue our legacy of connecting our customers to their places of work, education, family and friends. All you need is a can-do, customer-focused attitude. No previous bus driving experience is needed, and if you join us without a bus licence, you will earn whilst you learn to drive a bus with our dedicated training team.

What we offer

We offer the highest pay rates for bus-driving jobs in Ipswich and some of the highest pay rates for bus-driving jobs in the area. After completing your training, you can join either our 4-day or 5-day rota where you will be paid an hourly rate of up to £14.50 with a guaranteed minimum of 39 hours of work every week. This means you will earn a minimum of £566+ each week. Overtime and other opportunities will exist where you may increase your earnings. If you join us without a licence, you will be paid £12.00 per hour during the four to six weeks it will take for you to obtain your licence and learn all of the necessary skills you will need to become a bus driver at Ipswich Buses. After this, you will immediately be paid at our highest rate of pay.
