Service Changes – St Albans High School, Suffolk One, Holbrook Academy, Debenham High School & Otley College

Starting Monday 2^nd September, we will implement some alterations to some of our school-day-only services travelling to St Albans High School, Suffolk One, Holbrook Academy, Debenham High School & Otley College.

 

Most of the changes are being made to reflect the change in school or college times, or at the request of the school.

Travelling to St Albans High School?

 

11A & 11B – Castle Hill – St Albans Highschool

 

From Monday 2^nd September 11A & 11B will be remembered as 6A & 6B.

 

The 15:21 departures from St Albans School will now depart at 15:25 to give more time to customers who may be using the service to travel from St Albans School time to board the service.

Travelling to SuffolkONE?

 

18A – Norwich Road – SuffolkONE

 

This service will no longer operate.

 

Customers who currently use the 18A service to travel to Suffolk ONE can travel into Tower Ramparts Bus station using services 8, 9 & 10 and transfer on to service 997 which operates directly from Tower Ramparts to SuffolkONE.

 

Customers in Westbourne & Whitehouse can use service 8, which operates every 12 minutes. To view the route map and timetable for service 8 click here.

 

Customers in Castle Hill & Whitton can use services 9/10 which operate every 10 minutes. To view the route map and timetable for services 9 & 10 click here.

 

In the morning, 997 journeys from Tower Ramparts to SuffolkONE leave from stand NN and depart at 08:38 & 08:48. All bus stands are clearly labelled. To view a plan of Tower Ramparts bus stations, click here.

 

In the afternoon, 997 journeys from SuffolkONE to Tower Ramparts depart at 16:00. 16:30 and 16:40.

 

97/98 & 604 – Ipswich to Shotley

 

The 08:23 journey from Shotley Gate Bristol Arms to Suffolk One which operates on School Day Only will be withdrawn.

 

Customers who currently use the 08:23 journey can use service 604 to travel directly to SuffolkONE.

 

The 604 will serve the same stops and operate the same route. The 604 journey to SuffolkOne will depart Shotley Gate Bristol Arms at 07:55 and will operate as follows:

The 16:00 journey from SuffolkOne to Shotley Gate will depart 25 minutes later at 16:25 to accommodate changes in session times at SuffolkONE

 

997 – Ipswich Central to SuffolkONE

 

997 journeys have now been amended to serve Tower Ramparts Bus station. Times have been altered to reflect the new session times at SuffolkONE. We will also introduce two additional afternoon journeys to give an improved range of times to travel into Ipswich.
